Venture into your Infinity

Random delving - Subconscious/Unconscious

W.B. Yeats

When you are old and grey and full of sleep,

And nodding by the fire, take down this book,

And slowly read, and dream of the soft look

Your eyes had once, and of their shadows deep;

How many loved your moments of glad grace,

And loved your beauty with love false or true,

But one man loved the pilgrim soul in you,

And loved the sorrows of your changing face;

And bending down beside the glowing bars,

Murmur, a little sadly, how Love fled

And paced upon the mountains overhead

And hid his face amid a crowd of stars.

Web posterity draws me to make available the legal documents associated with the petition supporting the rescheduling of Cannabis

Denial of Truth

National Institutes of Health, more specifically the National Cancer Institute therein, meta-subsidiary of the US Department of Health and Human Services, provided earlier just this year —

“…complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) information summary: an overview of the use of Cannabis and its components as a treatment for people with cancer -related symptoms caused by the disease itself or its treatment.

This summary contains the following key information:

  • Cannabis has been used for medicinal purposes for thousands of years.
  • By federal law, the possession of Cannabis, also known as marijuana, is illegal in the United States.
  • The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has not approved Cannabis as a treatment for cancer or any other medical condition.
  • Chemical components of Cannabis, called cannabinoids, activate specific receptors found throughout the body to produce pharmacologic effects, particularly in the central nervous systemand the immune system
  • Commercially available cannabinoids, such as dronabinol and nabilone, are approved for the treatment of cancer-related side effects.
  • Cannabinoids may have benefits in the treatment of cancer-related side effects.”

the link above, however, is the response from acting DEA Administrator Michele Leonhart at the behest of ex-health secretary John O. Agwunobi, to Michael Kennedy and company heading up the effort to reschedule Cannabis absolutely no lower than III (and wishingly V) quoting suggestions from the US Department of Health and Human Services from the year 1985…

Not to mention this was after Kennedy headed up a law-suit this past May against the DEA’s 9 year silence to the petition…

I’ve lost the motivation to type any more.
